Determination of hydroxyproline

Digestion unit specially adapted for the determination of the hydroxyproline content in meat, meat products and sausages according to § 64 LFGB. For carrying out acid digestion in order to subsequently determine the amount of connective tissue in meat by photometric methods.

Based on the KJELDATHERM block digestion unit, ideal for the various applications of acid digestion. For the determination of the hydroxyproline content, the working temperature is limited to 240° C and 250 ml test tubes with screw cap are already included in the scope of delivery.
